House Washing in the Rio Grande Valley
What it is

Clean, done the right way for the surface.

Your home's exterior takes a beating in South Texas. Humidity feeds algae and mildew, hard-water sprinklers leave rusty streaks, and a constant film of caliche dust dulls the whole place. A proper house wash brings the color back and protects your biggest investment.

We use soft washing — low pressure plus the right cleaning solution — which is the method siding and paint manufacturers actually recommend. It kills algae and mildew at the root so it stays cleaner longer, instead of just blasting the surface (and your paint) with a pressure washer.

Our process

How we do it.

1

Inspect & protect

We walk the property, note problem areas, and protect plants, fixtures, and outlets.

2

Apply soft-wash solution

A low-pressure application breaks down algae and mildew at the root, not just the surface.

3

Gentle rinse

A thorough, controlled rinse leaves your siding clean — never etched or stripped.

4

Final walk-through

We check the whole exterior with you and re-treat any spot that needs it.

FAQ

House Washing questions.

Will pressure washing damage my paint or stucco?

It can — which is exactly why we soft wash. Low pressure plus the right solution cleans siding, stucco, and painted surfaces safely, with no blasting or etching.

How often should I wash my house in the RGV?

Most Valley homes do well with a wash about once a year. Homes near fields, heavy trees, or with shaded north-facing walls that grow algae faster may want it every 6–9 months.

Are your cleaners safe for my plants and pets?

Yes. We pre-wet and rinse landscaping and use solutions that break down safely. We take care around gardens, grass, and pets.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily, as long as we have access to water and the areas to be cleaned. We confirm everything before we start and after we finish.

What's the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water alone; soft washing uses low pressure plus a cleaning solution. Siding, stucco, and painted surfaces should be soft washed so the finish isn't damaged.

Will it remove the green and black on my shaded walls?

Yes. That's algae and mildew thriving in shade and humidity. Soft washing kills it at the root so it doesn't come straight back.

How long does a house wash take?

Most single-story Valley homes take a couple of hours. Larger two-story homes take longer — we'll give you a time estimate with your quote.

Can you remove sprinkler rust stains from my walls?

Often, yes. Hard-water rust on walls needs a rust treatment, which we can add on. We'll let you know what to expect once we see it.
